The United States has one of the worst records among industrialized nations – losing on average between four and seven children every day to child abuse and neglect. - Child Help.ORG
Common forms of child abuse include neglect, physical assault, emotional abuse, medical abuse and sexual assault.
Children cannot speak for themselves! WE MUST SPEAK UP FOR THEM! Parents, caregivers, daycare providers, teachers, police, social workers, doctors, nurses, councilors, psychologists, and neighbors are just a few of who we call "First-Responders" who are responsible by law for mandatory reporting of a child being neglected, abandoned or abused.
Advocacy, Action and Legislation must be actively enforced in order to save the lives of our children from the demise of abuse that often lead to long term trauma or even death. Studies have proven that abused children suffer from a combination of prolonged psychological, emotional, physical, medical, social, and economical development and maturity.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a difference.
